Hello,
I set up a new computer based on a maximus extreme motherboard. However I can't get any sound because Vista doesn't see the Supreme FX II soundcard.
The only sound device available is the HDMI output of my HD3650 vga card.
The Supreme FX II card is correctly installed (I've done it before and reinstalled it twice) in the first black pcie slot. HD Audio is also enabled in the BIOS.
Since Vista doesn't see it, the drivers couldn't install.
What can I do? I found someone on the internet with the same problem (vga card takes over audio on maximus extreme) and it was solved by having to enable the first pcie slot. Where can I find this setting in the BIOS?
