I jsut replaced the HSF with a bigger heatisnk wityhout fan on my GF2 MX card,
Now.. I super glued it and.. I don't think it's contacting with the chip too well. The core temperature keep going up almost upto 60 degrees.
The heatsink is warm to the touch, but not hot or anything.. just slightly warm.
Now I'm worried that i might fry my videocard. I tried to remove the heatsink with freezing method.. but didn't work. I guess it doesn't work on the superglue huh.
Help me... :(

Now the heatsink is slightly hot. Reaching 60 and above... I think I'll be needing a fan on it I guess.. Thanks for all your help.

superglue ??? using actualy superglue ??? or did u use the artic epoxy ???
superglue isn't heat conducting....

many people had tried putting the card into freezer until u think any beef in it is frozen.. take the card out and give the heatsink a twist...... dun worri about spoiling the card... jus make sure it is completely dry b4 using it again...

I've read of people mixing AS with super glue. I haven't tried it... yet! ;)
