Maximum resolution of the GF3 Ti500?

My GF3 Ti200 went up to at least 1600x1200 @ 32bit. I believe I tested 2048x1536 briefly as well on it.

I have a Ti-500 still installed in the Internet-Surfing and eMail handling PC here. There is a quick-change resolution utility that comes with one or another GF video adapter, and it's included here and now. That 1280 by 1024 is as high as it offers to switch to (I usually run at 1152 by 864, because the display is a 17" and the text is too tiny for me to use for regular reading from that size screen).

I have a plain GeForce 3 and it did at least 1600x1200x32x85 as I ran my desktop at this for a while.

You are being limited by your monitor. Since you are running a 17", the highest you can go up to is 1280x1024 because Windows hides any resolutions that are higher than what your monitor can do. If you tried running your card on a 22" CRT, the higher resolutions would become available.
