Maximum Pixel Rate?

I've been trying to figure out what the pixel responce times are on the KDS Rad-5. According to the spec PDF, the monitor has a Maximum pixel rate of 80Mhz. Can someone explain this to me? It cannot be the same as responce time (rise+fall) because even the Planar 17.4" (15ms+10ms) would only have a rate of 40 Hz.
