Maximum Operating Temperature

so i flashed mine's to an XT and overclocked after getting my VGA silencer 3. no artifacts at 460/780. i want to know the maximum operating temperature because i don't want to melt my chip.

ummmm.....I really dont think you need to overclock so much that things are in danger of melting

If it's the 246/256MB Radeon Pro, the Flash automatically enables Overdrive and your thermal diode.

They run hot . . .. up to 80 C or so (with stock 9800p cooling). 😉

Btw, how is the VGA silencer? I'm planning on getting it to cool my 9800pro as well.
