I have been play with shoe-horning a surplus gateway flex MSI 6312 into an old 386 slimline case.
I have one working nicely w my PIII-750 (100) but tried out a Celeron 1GiG (old core) with no luck
I had expected this MB to be recent enough to deal w a 10X multiplier.
yes this is one of the billions like it flogged at that auction site, USB only 810E chipset.
I had wanted to stuff in the cheaper processor as this was my couch potato -web surfing box
and relegate the PIII to a more worthy task.
this appears to be a unique- to- gateway board, nothing on the MSI site....
anybody know which processors work?
