I have a movie that's 710 Megabytes big and i want to do the overburn optioin in nero so it can fit on a 700 meg CD... What's the maximum i should try setting this to (it's measured in minutes btw)? It says you can damage your burner if you set it too high so i just want to do something that's 'safe'. My drive is an Iomega 12x3x32 ZipCD drive btw (it's a rebadged model of something else). Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what the max you can set it to, but I used to have that same drive (flashed to plextor) and it did 712 megs fine.

Just go into Nero ---> Preferences ---> Expert Features and then set it to 82 mins ... That should be ample to burn 710 MB on the CD.

btw, what brand CD-R are U using ? I have come across some brands where its gonna be tough to finish writing the Lead Out with 710 MB, but the CD will still be useable. I use Memorex and have burned upto 712 MB before without any problems.

Please make sure U set a slower burning speed like 4x.

Hope this helps and Good Luck
