Hi everyone 
I have a small business with an office in front/ break room in back. I would like to set up a webcam to kinda act as a security camera, strictly to act as a warning device to alert me that a customer has entered the office, so he isn't waiting on me, cause I didn't hear him activate the door buzzer. ( I often sit in my back room on-line, waiting on repair parts, and feel like an idiot keeping someone waiting while I am reading hardware site posts )
I have a run of approx. 30' from the office to my tower: are webcams usually USB, and do they make USB cables that long????
