Max Speed For Crossover Cable?

What is the maximum speed for crossover cable? Is it capable of 100Mbps or just 10Mbps? I realize that the NIC must support 100 for it to work at that speed.

A standard CAT5 cross over is 100MHz capable.

A CAT5e cross will be ready for the faster NIC when they will consumer affordable.

(/enable smartass mode)

I get get 155Mbps (that'd be 310/full duplex for you marketing folks) through mine (Fore System's).

(/disable smartass mode)

I couldn't help it, sorry.
