max size of ddr ram in 8k7a?

I went to some RAM websites and I only saw 256mb as the maximum single RAM for the 8k7a motherboard. As in, 256mb was the highest available in a single stick. Can you not get a 512mb DDR stick?

take a look at pricewatch...you'll see that 512meg ddr sticks are available but the price is quite high. it starts at a little over $200 for cheap generic stuff, compared to a 256meg stick for about $45-50 from crucial

Yeah, some of those 512 sticks are around ~$300 for the name-brand stuff. Vicious.
