Max Res. 1024x768, should I get a ATI X800 XL

Hey, Im interested in the ATI X800 XL for my system. But my monitor is a 15" LCD with max resolution at 1024x768. Is is much of a waste to purchase the X800 XL, because of the resolution. IF this is a bad choice, what would you guys recommend?

you may want to get the x800xl anyway for when/if you upgrade your display in the future

Since you can get a x800XL for like 288 I would probably get that since you will eventually be getting a bigger screen right?$288 x800 XL

unless you max out AF/AA stick with geforce 6600 series

The 6600GT is a very powerful card, even if you did get a larger screen you would be ok. Use the $100 difference X800XL vs 6600Gt to upgrade your display
