Anyone know what the max number of open shares an XP box can serve?
I have client that is opening a remote shop and wants to do things on the cheep.
I really would like to tell him to do it himself but his main shop is a cash cow for me.
I have never really thought about it because there is allways a linux box put in, and usualy 10 - 15 users.
I have heard 5 I have heard 10 and somewhere it is said 20. I will just be using simple file shares and 2 printers.
The box that will be the "server" will also be used as a WS. Thanks in advance.
