I got a watercooled 2,4B C1 which I bought in early december 2002. I have been playing around a bit but the highest FSB I cant get is 172 with Ram at 340 something. Best performance seems to be at 162 with Corsair XMS3200 C2 at 410 Mhz, 2,2,2,5 all at default voltage. I have a radeon 9700Pro and some kind of 3Com network card installed. Atm I am using the onboard sound chip. Got a modified TPS 350watt ps.
Any suggestions on whats holding me back here? Tried disabling sound and changing the bios setting from turbo mode to normal mode but did not help.
Actually I think the performance is not too bad: 3DMark2001SE: 16600, Sandra memory 3100, CPU 7500 i think thats ok.
Just wanted to know if I should be happy and its ok or if I should try something else to squeeze a bit more out of the system since temperature isnt a problem.
