Max character limit for post?

Topic says it all. Does anybody know what the limit is for number of characters in a single post? I was thinking of adding a lot of links for reviews, one line each, to my LCD sticky but am worried I may hit a limit.

xtknight you will be fine adding links to your great post, I do not believe there is a limit, and if there was I doubt you will reach it.

You will have a hard time reaching whateve the limit is.

Some postings in P&N have run two-three pages of full screen text.
The worse that would seem to happen is sluggishness in the display of such a thread; expecially if some people decide to quote the lengthly text content.

There's an idea for a forum rule.... no unnecessary quoting of long text.

Hmmm, lots of people complaining about how long that is there. That must be why OT is so screwed up. Half the people there have not heard of these objects that are many pages bound together, I believe they are called books.
