Mavs/Suns Western Conf. Playoffs

series in tied 2-2 going back to Pheonix and the homecourt advantage back in their hands. Will the mavs win or will pheonix come through with homecourt behind them?

my prediction: mavs > suns in game7

Thoughts?

no reasoning. i dont like the anyone in the mavs except nowitski, and he's not having the greatest playoff series. 😀

i think after a loss in Dallas, and the fact that they have Home Court, suns will win game 5. with them up 3-2 they will want to finish them off instead of dragging it off so they will play with energy (they lacked energy last night. i was pissed at how many offensive boards they allowed. Marion+Amare should be big enough to get some boards, they didnt want it bad enough)

i hope they and SA win. A SA/PHX West finals would rock

Suns will close it out in 6, trust me. Im not even a Suns fan or Mavs hater, but they'll find a way to finish Dallas off on the road now that they see Nash can burn them with points as well as passes.

yea that would be an amazing conf finals. well theyre double and actually triple teaming amare now and leaving nash open.. hes having to score and keeping his assists to a minimum, or at least that was the strategy last night which worked. I think that it will be a 7 game series. Honestly as much as i would love for the mavs to win, i think suns will snatch the series in game 7 back at phoenix.

yea but obviously last night, nash had 48 and they didnt win. He cant get the ball to anyone with the Dallas's new defensive strategy

The Mav's strategy won't work for the whole series; Phoenix isn't some mediocre team. They'll figure out a way around it and once Amare Stoudamire and Shawn Marion get going, it'll get ugly for Dallas.

heres the thing, mavs are either super cold or hot. the 2 losses they have are basically blow-outs. erick dampier aint exactly the type of person who gets hot every night
the 2 wins, suns kept it close. last night was worse but at least it was still a 10 point game

agreed, the mavs to frustraite me.

2 years ago, mavs went to western conf finals against spurs. 1st round we beat trail blazers in a 7 game series, round 2 kings in a 7 game series. (kings had home court advantage the entire time) We ended up beating the kings who were an amazing team at the time. I just think this is a repeart of 2 years ago and im extremely excited to see what happens.

anyone here have any comments about this?

oh, and Go MAVS!!! If Damp stays out foul trouble and Dirk can shoot well from floor, i give them 50-50 on their chances to advance...

since all of Phoenix's starters are all playing heavy minutes since Johnson is injured, wonder how well their legs will hold out in a game 7 (crossing fingers now)...
