Hi all,

Please take a look at the following SFF config and offer your comments and suggestions on it, and let me know if there's any glaring conflicts regarding the parts in the setup. I'd like for the system to be able to run the latest games (not necessarily at the highest settings, just smoothly will be fine).

Mobo: Asus M2NPV-VM Socket AM2 GeForce 6150 mATX

Case: Apevia X-QPack 2 mATX 500W PSU -- any problems with using just the generic PSU?

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane 1.9GHz 2x512MB L2 Cache (Retail)

Thermal Paste: Arctic Silver 5

HD: WD Caviar SE WD2000JS 200GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s (OEM)

RAM: Corsair XMS2 2GB (2x1GB) 240-pin DDR2 675 SDRAM PC2 5400 -- might just be a marketing gimmick on Corsair's part, but is DDR2 667 the same thing as DDR2 675?

ODD: LG 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write Black E-IDE/ATAPI Model GSA-H54NK (OEM)

GFX: will prob pick up an x1650PRO or GeForce 8-series later on, any suggestions (want to pay ~80USD max)?

Also, will all this fit reasonably well into the above-mentioned mATX case?

Looks ok.
The PSU should be fine even if you get a better video card.

Personal I like seagate drives better and they should cost about the same.
I would look into a little better CPU I think the 4200 are like $20-30 more and are pretty good bang for the buck.

Unless you need a good video for some thing stay with the On-board video. I say this because the 1650 sucks and is really not worth it. If you do need one looking to the 7900GS deal for $100. I know it more then $80 but it is at least twice the power and will last you alot longer.

Everything should fit. I've heard the Qpack psu isnt all that great but considering you are not overclocking you'll probably be fine with it. I agree with Orsin about getting a Seagate 7200.10 instead of the WD drive you chose. They are better and pretty cheap in cost. Obviously you can get better components all around but that would cost more and I see you are trying to stay low cost. Its not a bad budget gaming setup. I would also agree with Orsin that a 7900 series card is a better choice to start with.
