mATX case lovin'

I have one of the Ultra MicroFly cases (with windows). If I can ever get my hands on one of those eVGA mATX SLI boards, I'm gonna set up dual 7900GTO in SLI in the UltraFly. 😀

You mean an eVGA SLI board like I've got sitting in my closet, still in the shrink wrap? 😀

I picked it up before Christmas to use with a pair of the PNY 7900GSs that were on sale for $150 each ... the 7900GSs dried up though before I could move on them. Now I've got "The" mATX SLI board and I'm considering tossing in a single X1900XT ... blashamy ... I know.

Joo bastart! 😉

I actually ordered one from Newegg but it magically became OOS so they cancelled my order. Then back in stock, but since then OOS. I just ordered from Microcenter but it also magically became OOS. What gives?

Hey VooDooAddict, if you live anywhere near zip code 53144, want to hook up to see what kind of mini-monster machine we can build?

I was disappointed that the review didn't include more 'cube' mATX cases. One glaring omission that I can think of was the Lian Li PC-V300.

Which is the worst mATX design SFF chassis on the market. Would send mind back, but, it's not worth the effort. I just know to stop purchasing Lian-LI products.

The only good feature of the case is the grade of material used on the aluminum and perforation. After that, there is nothing about this chassis that is positive to write about.

They omitted the Silverstone SG01. I have my main rig in one and it's an extremely nice case. The build quality is fantastic.

Zap you aren't all that far man. I'm in downtown Chicago. Don't have a car anymore though.

Seriously? That's not too far. I actually was at the Navy Pier for New Year's Eve. I actually go near there probably once a month (Shaumburg for Ikea, O'hare for flights, Des Plaines, Palatine and Morton Grove for LAN parties).

Would you consider selling me that board, or loaning it to me? 😛

I'd certainly consider it. Can you send me any links to the LAN you goto? I used to goto LANGasm but it's pretty much defunct now.

There is a new version of this case with acrylic sides, I'm ordering one to replace my ol' Shuttle SB65G2.

I'll take this conversation to PMs.
