Mattresses at Costco - where?

We need a new mattress, so yesterday we decided to check out labor day sales at SleepTrain and MattressDiscounters. OMGWTF!!! What a bunch of sleazebag salespeople trying to peddle you a horrendously overcharged mattress!

I've heard Costco has a mattress sale every now and then, but when we checked them out, they only had one kind of queen mattress, and that was it ...

Anyway, I guess I'll have to fight a battle with STrain/MDisc guys and buy a spring firm mattress and a separate memory foam from Costco...

Costco only generally caries one brand. What you lack in selection you make up for with the satisfaction guarantee.

In stock on the floor they generally only have 1-2 types of Sealy Posturepedics. About half the price of a similar model at a Matress store.

They can also be special ordered ans they should have a small kiosk with the sizes and prices of the other 4-5 styles they have.

I've owned 3, and the Cheaper ones sucked ass . Were on their $700 queen now and loving it. Costco's return policy along with Sealy's warranty helped immensely.

Interesting. I must have missed their kiosk stuff. I'll check it out again. I'm willing to spend the money, but not $1796 for a queen size with a memory foam!!! wtf! It's like a regular spring with foam stitched on top.

Costco carries novaform mattresses, similar to Tempur-Pedic. I've owned one about 6 months and love it. They also carry sealy.

I posted this as a separate topic, but so far no responses. So I figured I'd pile it onto this thread.

My fiance and I found two American Signature brand (Value City Furniture brand) mattresses that we really liked for $500 for a queen set. Alternatively we could pick up a queen Sealy plush matress (which is supposed to have a value of about $900 at regular stores) from Costco.

Does anyone have any experience with the American Signature line? They sure did seem nice, but I'm skeptical and Costco has such a great return policy and I know that at Costco you'll get a decent value for your money.
