Matte Black GT-R in Dallas

There was a matte black GT-R cruising around uptown in Dallas this evening. I've seen a gunmetal one in person before, which I liked, can't say that I was a big fan of it in matte black though. For some reason it seemed to make the car seem bigger than it already was (at least from my vantage point) and matte/primer black doesn't seem to be a good fit for the angular/"futuristic" shape of the car.

He launched it from a stoplightand it hauled ass. I'm pretty impressed by it's ability to gain traction (I get none in my car on these roads, they're far too smooth) but dissapointed in the sounds it made, seemed very... boring.

I think the GTR looks a lot better in photos and video than it does in person. When you actually see what a huge pig it is, it's a disappointment.

yep , when I saw one in downtown chicago, it felt like Camry.

For some reason it doesnt have sex appeal.

Perhaps it was the new M3 parked acrossed the street

I saw one the other day in Irvine...it was painted red. I thought it looked sweet. It is HUGE though.....but most definitely sweet. The drive didn't floor it, so it was driving at the pace of all the other cars

And that launch probably voided the warranty... (yeah, I went there..)
