MATT SHARP... the former weezer guy, is he worth seeing?

Well, he is playing at my local club, and was wondering if he is worth the $10 to get in. The local band who is starting the show isn't so great. They are a funny band, called "logan Whitehurst and the Jr. Science Club".

Anyways.... woth the money or no?

I haven't heard his music, but I heard it was mellower than Weezer (acoustic guitars only). For $10 I would check it out.

the rentals! i suppose, yeah the music he produces seems more mellow than the rock that weezer puts on.

aw man this is kind of old but i didnt' see this thread before. anyways, i've seen matt sharp play twice. he's great to go see! it's definitely more mellower but if you are a fan of his rentals stuff u should go see it since half the playlist is usually rentals stuff. i dont' really like his new music, a bit TOO mellow for me but it's worth it to hear rentals live and acoustic!
