poor Renner, although it seems like he's in a Bourne spin-off now.

justing thinking about the shaky cam makes me want to barf.

I'm hoping they return to the first one...I liked the shaky-cam in the first one because it added a nice effect. It was completely overdone in the second & third Bourne movies, however.

The first movie is such a classic tho, LOVE it!

It was a fun movie. Not as good as the original Bourne Identity though. Felt like it could have been better, but worth a watch at least.

Is the fourth movie with Renner any good?

It is okay, but it goes too far to explain the super soldier and his motivations are suspect. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't as good as the Damon ones, IMO.

Can't say I won't be seeing this one. The first were fun action movies.

I always liked the Bourne and books thought the last one was entertaining but too short and ended too abruptly. Its like they had one more big action sequence planned and someone said yeah thats good enough!

Having both Renner and Damon teaming up as two superagents could have some serious chop soky and boom boom

dont forget at least one epic motorcycle chase and jumping out of the building like a boss.

Paul Greengrass (directed Bourne 2 & 3) is back on board for this one as well so you may want to stock up on Dramamine.

I don't really remember Bourne 3 as being anything special, so there wasn't really any drop off between number 3 and Renner's movie. In fact, just now I had to look up Bourne 3 to remember what it was even about. They should do a Damon vs Renner movie. Well, at first its a VS movie, then they do the cliche thing and team up to take down the man.

I thought the Renner one was terrible. I loved the first three. There was a cohesive story. The Renner one made no sense, there was no real villain, and the movie abruptly ended out of no where.

It was one of the few movies I ever walked out of thinking "what the fuck that was bad". The group of 5 people I was with thought the same.

RT has Bourne 1/2/3/4 at 83%/81%/94%/55%

Looks like quite a drop off. Never bothered with the 4th one though...

I don't get why 3 is rated 10+ over 1 and 2. Looking at some other sites, Metacritic for example lists the movies at 68, 73, 85, 61. IMDB: 7.9, 7.8, 8.1, 6.7. I guess 3 is generally considered the best, and 4 the worst, but I don't get all the love for 3. Maybe I need to watch it again, but the only thing I remember about it was that cute Russian girl at the end. By memory I would rate them 1, 2, 3, then 4, but like I said earlier 3 and 4 are on par. Its possible I'm mixing up what happened in each movie.

IIRC, 3 had the best story and conclusion. It sort of ended the Bourne series, for Jason Bourne, at least. It explained his past and exposed the agency, leaving him to life his life out in peace. It was also the first movie set outside of Europe, which a lot of people (Americans) like.

I'll watch Ultimatum again tonight. I think I even have it on blu ray. I remember watching Legacy at least two times though. I liked the beginning when he's trekking through the woods, and the shoot out at the scientists house. I like all the movies, just don't think one stands out that much more than the others.

Really? I remember most of it being in London.
