Well; now that I have everyone's attention, let's get to the real topic:

If I buy a water cooling system (for Northwood) such as the innovatek3, it will not water cool my video card. If i want a gf4 4600 to run at around 350/780, will I need a seperate video card cooler? And if so, can someone recommend one...

PS: This thread is not about VIA cpu's or Maxtrox...Just a ploy to get people's attention

It'll get people's attention, but they'll all be so pissed off with you that they won't answer your question ;)

I suggest pissing in your case while it's running and not wasting our time anymore :disgust: :D

Just get the thing with the thing and add the other thing so you have your own custom mod water cooling :p

Adding the heat of a modern GPU into a normal watercooler will negate any benefit you gained by watercooling. If you want to add a waterblock to your video card you will need a larger radiator or more air through the radiator.

My advice is to just get a decent video cooling set and be happy with it. Keep your watercooling for your processor or just buy a real decent heatsink. From what I can tell, the northwood overclocks don't seem to be as heat limited as other processors. Many people are nearly maximizing their overclocks with the retail heatsink.

I run a watercooler on my northwood and my overclock isn't as spectacular as some that are only air-cooling. It seems to be very chip dependent, not cooling.

Try rephrasing your question honestly so it is intellegible. Also, be patient with the replies.

WarCon has given you a reasonable reply. Me, I'm too irritated by your sick ploy for attention. :(

I think the better way to play this one with the same effect is to say blindly that you believe what you wrote as fact without question, insult Red Dawn, then move on to your real question. You may have more luck that way than to admit to trying to fool with us. :)
