Matrox Millenium II PCI Video Card

Problem: All of a sudden I get a lot of color washout especially in my desktop where I use webshots.com screen saver. Just started the other night. Graphics are blurry too and look out of focus.

1. Checked the cable to the video card from the monitor. OK.
2. Has the card possibly gone bad in this 3 1/2 year old Dell 266 MHz system?
3. If so, what is a good recommendation for replacement? I intend to replace the PC later this year.

How does it look when you don't use that screensaver? Did someone change the monitor setting in contol panel/display and/or on the monitor itself? If you have an AGP slot and you want another Matrox card, the new G450 would be a nice choice.
