I am thinking of purchasing a matrox marvel g200 to use in a home theatre computer. I have a video camera that only has a PAL output. Does anyone know if the software and drivers that come with the card deal with both PAL and NTSC signals?

In USA, the signal is NTSC. So on your TV, you will not be able to display a PAL signal.

Not looking to output PAL, I know I don't want to do that with a US tv. What I need is to be able to accept input from a PAL source, a video camera that was made for use in Europe.

Well, I had to spend all of 3 minutes at Matrox.com to see that there is a "normal" (NTSC) version and a "European" (PAL) version of the card.

And had you spent another 2, you'd have found out that designation refers to the output. Again, not what I need.
Whatever, I found it, driver has option to switch from NTSC to PAL. Does SECAM too.
