Matrox have said to expect an announcement around the time of the GDC, which is in March. Looks like an April or so release.... :(

Hope my G400 holds out till then.

You can still buy a G400 it just depends on what you use it for. Dual Monitor setup, web design, 2d graphics work. But if your talking about just getting it for gaming then your pretty much waisting your time i have one and don't even bother with it. I admit the Image quality is good, but it is no means something to go spring out the hard earned cash on for gaming At MOMENT. Graphical, dual monitor, 2D work then thats a good reason, for gaming right now it just isn't.

Matrox basically fell behind in the gaming portion of the video market, which means CONSUMER portion. So as of now, they are concentrating on the CORPORATE market, hence the cheaper and slightly underperforming G450.

Many expect the G800 or whatever they will be calling it to be out late next summer. They might announce it at the GDC, but knowing Matrox, this thing will be very late in shipping, and probably hard to find for the first month.

Just bought a used G400... no point in buying a new one when the card will be ditched for the G800 in less than a year.

Check Matroxusers.com for more information.
