Matrox G450 vs. Geforce2MX

Hi!

How much better is MatroxG450-32MB compared to Geforce2MX-64MB?

Will I notice difference when I play games (mostly FPS-games)?

though I've never used the Matrox card, I would suspect that the Mx would dominate it in FPS games. The MX is quite a nice card, but I would say there is little need to buy a 64mb version of it. From what I understand there is little performance gain from it for the price premium you might pay. Of course, it is nice to have the extra RAM I suppose. Just be careful with all the new models though--the Mx200 is not worth your money.
 
If your concerned about gaming performance, then the GF2 MX is a much faster card then the G450 in games.
 
I have the G450 and it's comparable in gaming to my older Viper 770 which is a TNT2. I believe the MX is faster than the TNT2 thus should be faster than the G450.
