I bought this game today and did the most complete install option available. It runs very unstable and I tried to enable the DualHead features in the game but I couldn't figure out how to do so.

The Matrox website talks about how Serious Sam allows multiplayer options with one player each screen, etc, but I saw no such options in the game.

Also, the game likes to freeze often on me. The system has been running very well and stable before.

Any clues on what's going on here?

Specs:
Duron 800
Gigabyte 7ZX (KT133)
512MB PC133
Matrox G450 DH
ATi 3D XPRESSION PCI

The system is hooked up to NEC AS95F (main monitor), Samsung 550s, and a Viewsonic E771.

Maybe the game doesn't like my 3-monitor setup?

Which version of Serious Sam - the First or Second encounter? Have you installed the latest patch?

What res are you running at . . . have you tried lowering it? Have you tried it just with one monitor?

Second Encounter. Perhaps I should try the latest patch, shouldn't I? :)

I'll try your other suggestions also.
