Matrox G400MAX & drivers

Which drivers should I use with my recently bought G400MAX ?
I have different problems under win98 when I run Q3, I only have very low fps anywhat resolution or settings I use.
Under win2k there is no problem with fluidity, but with monitor refresh rate, in fact, it stays at 60Hz as soos as I start an OpenGL game. How can I go over this pb ?
Another question : which software for DVD player do you use ? under win98 or win2k ? Because I must admit that the quality is not as good as when I had a rage 128 graphics card.

the latest drivers are 6.51 for win98 &amp; 5.52 for win2k!
I've found the best driver combo for win98 is driver version 5.52 with turboGL!
