Matrox G400 Dual Head-Can't shut down

I have the Matrox G400 Dual Head. I cannot shut down or restart. I installed all the recent drivers and bios upgrades but I think that since I cannot shut down or restart properly nothing is taking place.
My system consists of a Tekram P6ProA+ motherboard, Windows 98, a Pentium III 450, and 96 MB of RAM.

How do you know it's the G400 and drivers are causing this? Go into the technical forum, this is a pretty common problem i believe. I think it has more to do with the power/environmental settings than the videocard (but i'm sure somebody in the technical forum could help you out... i've seen it there a few times, try doing a search)
