Matrox G200 and DVD 8X

I plan to install DVD on 600MHz Celeron system with Matrox G200 Millinum card.

Anyone know if the video will be smooth??, would appreciate feedback.

It has nothing to do with what video card you have (since it doesn't have any DVD hardware) so it's all software. A 600 Mhz should be fine as long as you don't do anything else (just in case).

my understanding is some have software DVD assistance, that makes it smoother viewing, is this true?
