Matrix: Reloaded - Just saw it - not sure why everyone is going bonkers with theories...

It really isnt that deep people...don;t look so far into the whole religion/zion/ who is supposed to do what.

I agree that Smith is now some kind of virus, it appears he is bent on destroying Neo (from the scene where the guy was going to knife him but didnt get a chance to)
It seems all simple to me:

Neo is the "one", his whole job is to "reload" the matrix so that the 1% anomalies dont bring everything down.
The machines let a few people go...they in turn let more go.....they finally find the one...they bring hime back to zion (a REAL place).
He fufills his duty and meets the architect, saves trinity and reinserts himself into the matrix.

Why is it so hard to get it? :)
The whole Oracle=Mary Architect=God Neo-Jesus thing is just people going way overboard with their own religous tones....

Well, some people like to.. you know, think. TM:R is such a great movie because it satisfies both those who want a good movie to think about, as well as those who just want action with no thought.

Why does Neo have powers outside the matrix? Why was Neo able to save Trinity even though the architect said he wouldn't be able to? What kind of role does the Oracle really play? Is it a matrix within a matrix? You havent answered any of these questions and these are what people are speculating about. How can you not speculate on something that hasn't even finished yet??? There is still whole a other movie that is going to come out. People are theorizing what they think everything means before the movie comes out.

gee you said it "there is another movie coming out" so just wait and see dont speculate.
I think people forget one important piece of The matrix...it's a move....it's not real....

Why did he save trinity? because he flew fast anough to catch her and then did his mojo to make her come back to life similar to what she did for him when she said she loved him. Blah..blah..blah.

Actually, even the creators of the movie have admitted to multiple religious and spiritual undertones on multiple occasions.
