From what I have read, it seems the right thing was done, it seems he acted like an ass.

so he didn't get a contract for enough money for the new movie, called up pissed and threatened him, and he was written out of the next 2 movies. I'm sure he got offered many millions to do it but he got greedy. So instead of taking part in the Star Wars of this generation, which almost anyone would do for free... he ends up with nothing. He got what he deserved.

Yeah, I read this a while back (APA community sent me the link), and was conflicted between APA loyalties and nerd loyalties. Then I read WHY he wasn't in the second one, and forgot about it quickly.

I think i remember them saying that the Wachowski (sp?) bros called the cops on him when he showed up on the set. They showed the cops a pic of him from an old movie where he had the part of a black panther and had a gun in a portrait shot. After seeing this picture they arrested him

Link's part in the movie could have been shot in one day. IIRC he didn't do much except be in awe of Neo.

I like Tank, better than Link anyways. For such an unknown actor though, I think at least 150k would more than suffice, especially to get a role in such a large film that would undoubtably get your face out in the public's mind. Ah well, greed by both sides can cause stupid things.
