OMFG! i just picked this up yesterday... it's huge!!

Massive deluxe set stands 12" tall. Between the APU and human driver, this set has more than 40 points of articulation - including several ball, gear-driven and pneumatic-style joints - and is incredibly poseable. Includes complete APU and human driver. The level of detail is astonishing with a nest of hydraulic lines, belt-fed arm cannons and driver cockpit with arm and leg controls, plus moving control panel. This boxed set re-creates Mifune's Last Stand from The Matrix Revolutions

I know right? Seems kinda pointless to have all that brawn when the driver can be sniped...or burned...or catch shrapnel...

Actually it does... in THIS picture you can see an armored cover where the driver would be... filming purposes probably has it removed.
