matrix demo for 3dmark2001

I got a score of 3600 with my athlon 1.4 ghz, geforce 2 pro, and according to other ppl. my score sucks as they were getting 7000 with the same card. how do I get better performance? I didn't have support for like 3 or 4 tests does that affect my score?

2nd question: that matrix demo is cool, I know you've all seen the full version of that demo, but where can I get a copy of that full version demo?

these are some of the things you can do to improve your score:
1) install detonator 4 driver,
2) if your mobo is using via chipset, make sure you install the latest 4 in 1 driver.
3) disable fsaa and vsync
4) defrag your hard drive
5) overclock your video card
you should also check out madonion's forum.. i'm sure that you'll find more tips on getting higher 3dmark score

what's detonator 4 ? and where can I get it?

I have a ali magik 1 chipset so what's the driver for that?

Scoring 7000 in 3dmark2001 with a Geforce 2 Pro? I dont think so... even some GeForce 3's can't get that high...

I think your score actually sounds more reasonable... maybe the other guys were using 3dmark2000, which uses a completely different scoring system and cannot be compared to the score from 3dmark2001....

I agree I dont think anyone has got a 7000 with a Ge-force 2, I get in the 6000s with my system...

i have a geforce 2 pro/ 1.2 ghz AMD / via chipset, and i get about 3500, so i think your score is accurate for your system.
