Matlab for students

Hey guys,

Im using Matlab for projects in my Engineering Mathematics class and was wondering about student versions of matlab.

I can't even get a free trial without filling out a form on their website, is there anyplace that offers some kind of student version so I can do my work at home instead of going on campus all the time??

I believe you have to buy it. Last time I checked it was about $100 for the student version with documentation, through Mathworks. Check with your school though, my freshman year i bought it for ~$60 through my school.

like they said ^^^ check with your school to see if there are any deals through the school. Otherwise, it's around 100 or so. That's a helluva lot cheaper than retail.

Yeah, we get it licensed for free too which is how I have it. If you can't get it like that, and you don't want to pay for it, just go to the computer lab. Honestly, I'm about 4 times more efficient there than at home anyways.
