Dont ask for the anwer, I dont know it.

A guy walks into a hardware store.
He buys something you have around the house.
1 cost $1.00
100 cost $3.00
87 cost $2.00

What did he buy?

House numbers (the number on your house that indicates your address)

Each number costs $1.

$1 for a 1
$1 for a 0
$1 for an 8
$1 for a 7

Genius :Q

lol i just found the answer on google like 30 sec ago
thanks anyway ATOT, I dont post much but your willingness to help people with low post counts is commendable

He bought nails. Minimum to buy is $1, at 100 you get a price break to $2, and 87 nails doesn't get that price break.

I thought 87 for $2.00 had to do with gas..a gallon of 87 octane for $2.

And who has 6 digits in their address anyway 😛
