How do I find the x, y, and z components of a tangent line to a helix at a given point? We went over it in class and now I can't figure out my notes.
I know the para equation for the tangent is:
t = (a^2 + b^2)^(-1/2) * (-(a sin t)e1 + (a cos t)e2 + be3)
But how do I get x, y, z components from that equation?
