Wow it's only been two years since I was in school and I was doing this type of stuff but i'm stumped. My buddy gave it to me to mess with me and well yeah i think its got me. I'm guessing it's E?

A truck sprang a leak at the bottom of its radiator, which held 480 ounces of fluid when it started to leak, and started losing radiator fluid at a constant rate of 4 ounces per minute. Suppose that the radiator continued to leak at this constant rate and that the truck, traveling at 35 miles per hour, could continue traveling at this rate until tis radiator was completely empty. In how many miles would the radiator be empty?

A - 13.7 B - 17.5 C - 35 - D - 70 E - 120

K so it's D ... Thanks guys:eek:

:confused:

EDIT: Put in the answer options...lol sorry

480 ounces / (4 ounces/min) = 120 minutes
120 minutes * 35 (miles/hour) * (1 hour / 60 minutes) = 70 miles

Edit: Damn typo

480/4 == 120

EDIT: Heisenberg fixed it, so NM. :) :beer:
