Matching Memory Modules

Is this question too hard? I installed a Crucial Memory Kit consisting of 2GB (2 X 1GB) DDR2 PC2 4200. When I look at it in CPU-Z I notice that the two modules show to have two different frequencies and timings in the timing table. How close should these readings be in two properly working sticks in a kit?

technically they dont have to match to run in pairs, usually the motherboard will default the faster ram stick to the speed of the slower one. you could possibly tweak the slower stick to run as fast as the faster one but you will have to run memtest 86+ in order to test its stability.
