I like Friendster.com...cuz I actually know the peeps on that one and they can introduce me to peeps on their Friendster network...its much cooler IMHO...
 
I used to pay for Match.com service for 2 years. (from 1997 to 1999)

Made alot of friends, dated a few girls... nothing major ever came from it. I ended meeting my wife through a friend of a co-worker. (she was a friend of a friend of a co-worker, heh)

Anyway, my suggestion is if you've got the $$$ to spend on it give it a try. Just don't expect anything magical to happen.
