First, let's get the obligatory jokes out of the way. . .OK, everyone feel better now. Good. My question is what do you recommend for hand/grip/wrist/forearm exercise? I have an ongoing pain in one of my wrists and I want to strengthen it. At the gym I was doing forearm curls and reverse curls. The forearm curls are painful every time I do them, so I stopped for the time being.
I seem to remember a thread recently recommending a few piece of equipment that can be used at home for working these areas. Anyone?

You should have known that the immature kiddies of ATOT couldn't handle (no pun intended) this topic.

*snicker* Well, a good exercise is to do wrist curls. Grab a 20lb weight and curl it with only your wrist (keep your arm steady with your free hand). Or, you could put two stress balls in a tube sock and squeeze them while you are sitting at your desk :D

Don't underestimate it until you've tried it.

Interesting. I'm looking for something that will exercise and strengthen my wrists and forearms without the pain associated that I have when doing the forearm curls. Some kind of tendon issue in my wrist, I'm told.

Don't they sell those gyroscope things at rock climbing stores? They really stretch your wrists out when you get them going. Just keep in mind that carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by repeated motion....so be sure to vary everything you do to hit every little muscle in your forearms/wrists.

Edit: This one glows BLUE!

um, I use this thing at the gym that is a like a one foot long rod with a rope that comes out of the middle of it that has a weight attached to the end
you put one hand on either side of the rope on the rod and try to wind up the rope on the rod, then you do it backwards unwinding it

Hand ........Hand
