Why? He's a fucking moron. Furthermore, he was cheating on his wife who lives with him yet he's sending marinated sausage vids to his g/f. Stay classy.

Being a moron and cheating on your wife typically aren't the sort of things that a person should be sent to prison for, nor required to register and report as a sex offender for the rest of their life.

So, yeah, he's a creeper, he's a moron, he's a cheating husband. But man, he's gonna get raked over the coals by a bunch of self-righteous police and prosecutors for not doing much of anything but being dumb.

There's a rule, though not one that can be enforced: NEVER add current students to your accounts on social media. Had he followed the rule, he'd be embarrassed. But, since he sent the images to underaged students, he's in pretty big trouble for distributing pornography to a minor.

The fact that he had his team on snapchat didn't bother me as much as what he did with it prior to this incident. Why would he send his team pics of himself with soccer jerseys? And why snapchat to do this when he could've easily setup a team facebook page for this type of strange activity and team related events info etc. It may have been an honest mistake, but it's still suspect to me.

Understood that he is not a model citizen, BUT, I dont think what he did should result him in loosing EVERYTHING he ever had, his money, his career, he freedom, everything. That's brutal. People cheat and ignore their family all the time, that should not result in jail time or loosing jobs.

It's interesting to note that if his phone was encrypted and he had refused to allow them to search it he likely would have gotten away with it.

I'm a bit dubious that this was an accident. Adding the girls to snapchat where he's been sending dirty pics to his mistress? Beyond stupid. I tend to think he's a bit of an exhibitionist and thought he could get away with it by saying it was accidental.

But even assuming it IS an accident, the legal charges are the appropriate response. Accidents that happen and cause harm (and showing minors your junk is generally considered harmful) have consequences.

The truck driver may not have meant to slide across the center divide and smash a car, but the people were injured, and the truck driver is legally liable. Same thing if there was a security guard who mishandled his firearm and shot someone.

This is especially true in cases of negligence, and I think mixing his work with children with his private life that included dirty pic swapping with his mistress was negligent. Teachers should know that personal social media contact with their students is a very poor idea (and in many school districts against policy) - school contact should be done through specific accounts for that purpose (so setting up a Wherever HS Girls Soccer Team facebook page with oversight by the school administration would be appropriate.)

Read this yesterday on Ars. I'd hope the judge will look at his intentions when sentencing comes. I doubt he will see jail time as the story is being told so far. He is shamed in his community, which is punishment enough for this type of stuff.

I disagree. He sent kiddie pr0n to his underage students. For all we know, he could have done it on purpose... in the article the school AD said the guy wasn't even remorseful after it happened. This guy deserves to be put on the S.O. list for life, people were harmed by his negligence. A good analogy to this is a drunk driver, they probably didn't mean drink a lot nor run over a pedestrian but their negligence has harmed many people (including the family of the victim) permanently. This guy is getting what he deserved.

Most chicks are not for seeing the rooster. I think it was Howard Stern that he asked a TON of chicks and they responded in the same manner. They just don't get off on it.

Exactly. They want to see muscles and an attractive face.

Which sucks. :(

You have a strange definition of child pornography. It's not "porn sent to a child." And it's not something he's being charged with.

I disagree with his arrest charges and with your post in the assertion that anyone was harmed by this. I'm sure the students were grossed out but I doubt a single one of them hadn't seen a penis before. I can see that they'd be very uncomfortable and upset if he continued to be their coach, firing him is reasonable, but I highly contest to the notion that they were traumatized by merely seeing a couple seconds of the video. Especially after learning that it was a mistake. At the very least I think the students should be explicitly making this claim instead of merely assuming it.

And yes, it almost certainly was a mistake, I can't see why he'd delete it almost immediately afterwards if it weren't. It's not like he'd only realize how bad of an idea it was shortly after sending it.

Amazingly stupid.

Almost as stupid as not lawyering up 15 seconds after deleting said video.

Yea I thought snapchat did not leave any "evidence"? Is that not how it works?

So even if someone saw it would disappear if they tried to show someone else.
But yea a lawyer would have told him to shutup and admit nothing.

And he let cops search his phone and home as well. WTF.

This should be a case study of how not to act when the police come by asking questions.

It's only the 8th of January and this guy is already coming out strong for the "Self Ownage of the Year" award.

I can't think of a single act that could do as much damage to your character.

So lets see here. He was working for the school system, that's over. He's a business owner, good luck with that now that everyone knows you're a perv. He's married and busted sending masturbating snap chat to girlfriend, oof. Send said video to minors which will probably result is sex offender's list for the rest of his life.

I mean, the guy would probably have been better off killing himself instead of sending a video yanking it.

he even showed them the cumspot so they can take swabs for evidence.

Amazing that a 15 second fap ends up a fapageddon of doom. He is pretty much done for.
15 second FAP + send to all =

I wonder how long before social image sharing services try to implement some kind of nudity auto-detection algorithm where it can try to deter the user from sending it.

The problem is the whole Instant I have to post it now mindset of social media addicts.

They could easily add a function that when they press send, it shows a screen that says ARE YOU sure you want to send it to... and show the list. And require a swipe, then a push to activate the send.

A safety feature.
