Masterpiece Megatron

For transfans, they're releasing a Masterpiece Megatron... and he's a Walther P-38. Not a crappy tank or a futuristic pistol, but the Walther! Due to U.S. toy gun laws you'll have to import him though. Bigbadtoystore is going to open packages and glue on orange tips to the barrel to make them legal, though I'm sure a couple of retailers will try to sneak them in unmodified. No sniper rifle accessories, unfortunately, though you get the gun he killed Optimus Prime with, the morning star from the first couple of episodes, the lightsabre from the movie, and some wierd creature thing.

A transformer that transforms into a gun makes NO SENSE. For one thing, he can't do anything as a gun- someone has to wield him. And no one is big enough to wield another machine of similar size. In the cartoon he'd get smaller, and Starscream would shoot him. I mean seriously. If you can choose to transform into something, would you pick a gun??

Blame Teletran-One - it's the one that converted all the Transformers into their earth forms while they were unconscious.

It depends, are we talking a 9mm or a 357? 😛

Doesn't matter... it could still turn into a realistic gun, even if it's shipped in robot mode.
