I insatlled my printer using the software cd and it installed. It prints out and everyhting but whenever i start up windows it detects it as new hardware btu says "required section cannot be found in the inf" or something but the printer still works when i print something regardless of this error. Is there anyway to stop it from being detected?
 
have you uninstalling/reinstalling the printer drivers? And if your printer is USB, make sure its plugged into the same port it was plugged into when you installed the drivers.
