MasterCard users get 25% off Service Fee at Webcertificate

It appears that the 25% off is only off the service fee. I suggest that anyone who purchaced a webcertificate thinking that the 25% would be deducted off the purchace price call webcertificate and demand their money back. The promotion was not made clear.

Fees for sending webcertificates range from $3 to $5 (details) To get 25% off this charge you may use your master card to purchace.

I found this offer by clicking on the webcertificate button at the MasterCard page

I appologise to all whom were misslead by the offer. Webcertificate and MasterCard need to make thier promotions a lot more clear.

Is there a limit to the amount of money you can get a webcertificate for? Could you essentially say get one for $2000 - 25%(500) = $1500? Tempted to see if i can do this to buy a new laptop(missed out on the dell/msn special).

Anybody try this? It was my impression that you save 25% off the "fee" associated with sending a WC. I just tried it and it looked like it wasn't taking 25% off anything.

The 25% is off of the fees that webcertificate charges, not off the webcertificate itself. $3.70 fee versus $4.90 fee.

I was just about to give my credit card info when i noticed the 25% was off the fee. Back to buying walmart gift cards i guess ($900 already).

For those who care instead of 25% off you're actually getting a 1.85% surcharge (based on a $200 card)
