Master titles are gone!

Will their new title be "Elite Whiners"? I've got more time invested in anandtech (God, strike me down for saying that) than most and even I don't care that much about my title. Master Elite really was fitting though I thought.

Cuz everyone was b!tching about it, like they do everything else... Some were complaining it shouldn't be done via post-count, some because it contained "elite." There's no pleasing these people.
 
I think it might have something to do with political correctness. Last I heard, the term "master" was banned from the IDE industry.

"Primary Master" would make a nice title though. 😀

I think you're right.

The Admins had it right the first time.

25,000+ should be Master Member then there's no "Elite" confusion/whining.

The only problem with Master, is that it encourages far to many jokes, even more than "Member" jokes. That said, I'm glad things are back to the way they were before; the new ranking members were giving us too much lip. :lips: 😛
 
I don't care whether or not there is another title given at 25k posts, it seems kind of appropriate to have one maybe, but I did think the whole "Master" part of it was pretty stupid. It just doesn't make sense when you look by the other titles, especially since the one previous to that is Lifer. Maybe they'll think of something better.

Edit: lol, at 25k posts, maybe a No-Lifer title would be better. 😛
