Master of Scavaging! What have you creatively rigged up?

My father-in-law found a few old late-80's-on-the-shoulder-bazooka-style camcorders that were in perfect working condition. I didn't really have a use for it, but thought I might be able to rig it as a webcam. I used the the TV-in on my capture card, and it works perfectly! In fact, it probably handles the low light conditions of my basement better than an expensive webcam would!

What kind of creative uses have you found for old junk?

I took some spare nails & screws hanging out of the basement walls & used them to reinforce a dresser that was falling apart.

I used a piece of carpet leftover from an installation and used it as a door mat in the garage.
