I have recently got back in to playing MoM after a 5 year break. The game is amazing considering how old it is. I really wish they made a second one but it's ok since this one still rocks. I was wondering though, are there any games out there that are simular to this that perhaps is more recent? I'm eager to waste my days again!

I think you can download it from their website or something. I'm pretty sure I saw it somewhere earlier today.

I did find a link to it but apparently downloading it is still considered piracy even though it's classified as "abandonware". I'm a good, little, Mod-Fearing ATOTer so you guys can conduct the search yourselves, it's not hard to find. :D

are you sure thats the correct name? i remember an rpg game with magic in the title and that was my fav game of all time! had sometihg like 100+ units

I don't believe that out of all you game junkies, no one can suggest a more recent version of MoM :Q:D

It's probably in my Top 5 of all time. Pickup Age of Wonders II, MoM's spiritual sucessor!

Age of Wonders (and its sequel) is probably the closest thing out there, but I still prefer Master of Magic.

Masters of Magic was awesome. My roommate and I used to play that all the time on a 25MHz 486! The later turns took so long that we could go get something to eat while we were waiting for our turns! :Q

I have it lying around here somewhere. I should load that up now that our computers are a little bit faster than 25MHz. :)

Yup! MoM rules! I still have the box and everything! I also got the 1000 page strategy guide :), many wasted nights with that fine game :)
