I admit that Halo 3 is a good game

But THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Its acheived a level of stupidity far greater that most ad's. I think Halo 3 will be remembered more for its utterly promotional stunts than the game itself.

I don't think it is all that ridiculous. MS is a technology company and Halo 3 has already sold a ton of games making a ton of money. Nasdaq and Wall Street typically have guests to ring the closing bell. Kind of makes sense given what happened yesterday.

Uh... it's actually pretty normal. When I watch the local news, they almost always show some guest ringing the closing bell on the NYSE. I assume it's the same on the NASDAQ.
