Massively Multiplayer Offline Games

Ive done this too many times to be believed. Usually it happens if I play a new game, sleep very little and then go somewhere. All of a sudden the sound effects of the game briefly replace reality!

The best one I can remember was Dark Forces. I went to work the next day, looked at someone in the hall, and automatically thought, "Youre not authorized to be here! Blasters on full!"

Great game. The worst I was addicted, staying up late and playing 16 hours a day, was Balder's Gate II. Fun times, though I found the expansion pack lacking 🙁
